He has a unique gift for inspiring people from all walks of life and bringing them together around the table, a glass of wine, and shared experiences.

Perhaps it comes naturally from being born in Burgundy, where wine is far more than a profession or a beverage — it is a way of life. The culture of Burgundy runs deeply through the veins of its people. Interwoven with food, wine, family, friendship, and tradition, it becomes an intrinsic part of everyday living. This Burgundy lifestyle is not simply something Sébastien learned; it is part of who he is. These are his Burgundy roots.

In 2009, Sébastien had the idea of sharing this passion with a small group of winery clients and friends by bringing them to Burgundy. As a native of the region, he could offer a rare and authentic insider’s perspective — access to hidden places, remarkable people, celebrated vineyards, and the rich history and culture that make Burgundy so extraordinary. From this vision, The Burgundy Experience was born.

In 2010, Sébastien led the very first Burgundy Experience, and it was an immediate success. Lifelong memories and friendships were created as guests explored historic villages, tasted exceptional wines, shared unforgettable meals, and visited unique vineyards, domaines, and châteaux. Along the way, participants connected not only with Burgundy’s wine culture, but also with the people and spirit behind it.

The experience was so meaningful and joyful that it naturally continued year after year. Each journey brought new discoveries, laughter, stories, and unforgettable moments. In 2027, we proudly celebrate our 8th Burgundy Experience.
